Man trolls Janet Yellen, gets paid thousands in bitcoin.
I love this story. It is just beautiful. This smart young man in DC had the awareness to show up to Janet Yellen's testimony to do nothing more than troll her with a paper with the words "Buy ฿itcoin" written on it. He then posted a picture of himself with the sign, and his bitcoin address.
How much has he made in about half a day? Over 4 BTC!!! Current market value $9800.
This is a true beauty of the cryptocurrency movement. There is such a large amount of people in the crypto market that truly understand economics and free markets. Imagine a world where you can get paid $10,000 to troll the Federal Reserve. Alright, now stop imagining, because it's real. It is this crypto market that has sprung up. The worlds best example of a free market.
The players in this game are so very smart. It takes an understanding of economics to love this trolling. It really shows who is in the market to see that crypto holders have paid out $10,000 for a reward of trolling the Federal Reserve. I think it is a fantastic indicator of the mindset of the people who will be the biggest players should crypto go mainstream.
4 years ago I realized bitcoin and blockchains would change the world. Having watch the technology grow, and learned so much along the way, I am more confident now in crypto then I was even then.
The future of money, and of markets looks bright. The future of humanity looks free when the states of the world crumble without the ability to control the economy with currency manipulation.
