As part of my ongoing research into the security of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, I've been tracking the ransomware attacks that have been documented in the media recently. The current list is below. It may be soon that these despicable thieves turn to steem as their preferred ransom. Perhaps a contest is in order to see who can guess the date of the first steem scam...
