So you can profit from the growth of KuCoin by holding shares and collecting referrals.
What are KuCoin Shares?
KuCoin shares are shares in the exchange KuCoin. In total there will be 200 million shares: 70 million for the founders, 30 million for the early investors and 100 million for the users. The shares of the founders can't be sold before September 2021 and the shares owned by early investors are locked until 2019. This means they can't just dump their shares and change the price.
Users that own KuCoin shares get their reward around 00:00 everyday. Around that time the total trading fee is calculated and the fees will be distributed. The more shares you own, the higher your reward is. 50% of the trading fee is distributed between the KuCoin share holders. 40% of the trading fee is meant for the people that invited other users (referral) and the other 10% is for KuCoin itself.
