More and more mining farms are built in cold places like Iceland genesis mining and invia in the Swiss Alps now even ice rock mining which is creating bitcoin mining farms in iced mountains. We can all behave like it does not matter until it is too late or we can stop POW mining and convert to POI and POS béfore it is too late.
The amount of heat we are creating today may not look significant yet each day we keep adding up to its numbers and who is keeping track? Bitcoin was created to improve the world however if we do not watch out it may end up destroying life as we know it. Don't get me wrong I do like the blockchain tech just not the POW version where we use more electricity for 1 transaction then 1 entire household uses in the states.
And don't forget the fossil fuels we burn to generate the electricity needed to complete the transactions.
