Thanks for your comment! I don't believe in better coins since cryptocurrencies can evolve by updates and additional layers. At the end of the day you can create all the 'better' features on side chains. In all the features that are interesting to use a blockchain for, security is one of the most important requirements. The more value get added to one blockchain, the more security you will get (in case of POW). It is impossible for a blockchain designed for only one feature to get the same level of security as a blockchain that has a base chain for store of value and global transactions and multiple side chains. Beside that the network effect and infrastructure will give a big advantage too.
