Bitcoin is almost 10 years

Dear Steemians,

Today i will try to explain what has been happening these past few days. Bitcoin is almost 10 years old and badly needs an upgrade which is way overdue. 10 years ago, a 1MB data block was a problem as the internet wasn't fully ready yet.

1: Bitcoingold fork was to address the issue of hardware, so that more people could mine it, but it still has not worked out the replay protection issue.

2: Bitcoin2x(B2x) or Segwit2x sees the failed attempts of Bitcoingold and did not go ahead as planned. B2x does not have replay protection also.

3: Since B2x failed to provide the much needed upgrade from 1MB to 2MB, the next best is BitcoinCash(BCH) with its 8MB data block.

4: BCH is the only chain with replay protection and a 8MB data block.

5: Come Nov 13, BCH will have a fork to correct its only issue Emergency Difficulty Adjustment EDA which resulted in multiple periods of ice age. The objective is to achieve flexible new difficulty adjustment algorithm for BCH.

But Bitcoin has segwit (and later on lightning network perhaps), while Bitcoin Cash does not.
Is BCH technologically better?

only in terms of block size 8MB vs 1MB, while lightning network is still not ready. will be glad to switch back to btc when that happens
