Hut 8 has been buying and holding bitcoin and it's not a small amount

Hut 8 recently announced they were buying $100 million in bitcoin.

While that is nothing compared to what MSTR has been buying, it's not a small amount.

Added together with their other bitcoin holdings and their totals are now worth more than $1 billion.

This puts them as one of the largest holders of bitcoin and certainly one of the largest holders among the public miners.
