Trace Mayer: Bitcoin's Lightning Network Will Be Adopted Faster Than People Think

Jason starts off the interview by asking Trace about why Bitcoin's dominance of the total crypto currency market cap is down from over 80% in February 2017, down to 60% in November and December 2017 and is now all the way down to below 34% so far in 2018?

Trace thinks this measurement misses the point and that many alt coins cannot be sold without crashing the price. Trace says if a lot of Ripple HODLers sell then it would crash the price. Jason asks Trace if a lot of the loss of Bitcoin's dominance is due to people speculating on far cheaper coins?

Next, Jason asks Trace about the Bitcoin Lightning Network. What is it and how will it help make Bitcoin faster, cheaper and more efficient to transact?
