A woman who lives in Medellín became the first Colombian to buy a house with bitcoin. It is a property of a project located in Santa Marta and that cost 0.03 bitcoins.

The transaction was enabled by the real estate company La Haus, which allows transactions with bitcoin at the end of 2021, a period in which the woman managed to separate the apartment.

It is known that the woman was abroad, so La Haus, where personalities such as David Vélez and Maluma have carried out real estate deals, served as an intermediary.

The apartment that the woman bought with bitcoin is in Natura City, a housing complex that has 160 units available whose value could exceed $400 million.
