Is Bitcoin used by criminals?

Many public misconceptions about the many uses of Bitcoin by criminals, but the thought is wrong thinking. This thinking is caused by the large number of people who think that Bitcoin is anonymous, when in fact Bitcoin is so opposed to it - all transactions Bitcoin transparent and everyone in the world can see the ongoing Bitcoin transaction. People may not be able to connect a particular individual identity to a Bitcoin transaction directly (this is why sometimes Bitcoin is also called pseudo anonymous), but if they find it, then they can see all the transactions you have done on the Bitcoin network. This is why Bitcoin is the wrong way if you use it for things that are not true.

Although Bitcoin may be the safest and not the most "bad" way to use money, it does not mean that no criminals use it. Just like normal money, there are "bad guys" who use Bitcoin. But there are two important things that we should note, firstly because more and more data is available in this industry, the more obvious the number of bad cases, which is very small. If the Bitcoin ecosystem is likened to a large mountain, then the size of the evil parts is just a few blocks of rock. Secondly, every financial system is a risk that can not be eliminated and can only be reduced, and Bitcoin has the best tools in the world for that matter.

Bitcoin moves parallel with the internet in the context of all the "bad things" that people pose to Bitcoin. Is the internet completely good? Certainly not. Terrorists, money launders, illegal smugglers use Facebook, twitter, and Whatsapp to communicate or coordinate on a daily basis. Some people may feel anxious that at least 5-30% of online traffic is related to pornography. We have not even talked about dark web, where all the bad things are. But despite all the issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive things than negative things. For the same reason, we should be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects from the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that can be used by "bad guys" and "good guys". Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the "good people" category.

Bitcoin is actually much safer than what people think.
