BitShares Sets New Blockchain Activity Record
BLUF: BitShares is a beast.
Yesterday was an amazing day for BitShares. Not only did we hold the #1 spot for the highest gains in a 24 hour period on coinmarketcap.com, but apparently the DEX was on fire as well.
If you check blocktivity.info you will see that BitShares processed 1,513,024 transactions in a single day. This is a brand new record for the BitShares blockchain. That number is amazing when compared to some of the other way more popular blockchains. For example, during the same 24 hour period, Bitcoin processed 220,191 transactions (TRXs) and Ethereum processed 780,618 TRXs.
An extremely important factor to keep in mind is the capacity of an individual blockchain. Yesterday, the TRXs that were processed on the Bitcoin blockchain took up 46.34% of the total TRX capacity while Ethereum TRXs took up 100% of the blockchain capacity plus an additional 28,477 unconfirmed TRXs. Even though BitShares set a new ATH (all-time-high) record, it did so by only using .13% of its total network capacity. That's less than 1% of the total capacity which means BitShares is fully capable of scaling to amazing levels without breaking a sweat. While other blockchains struggle to scale, BitShares has been this way for years.
As more companies build on top of BitShares, we can expect to see new records set on a constant basis.

This is awesome. Any project by Dan Larimer always does well. Still waiting to get full benefit of my lifetime membership. So far I've gotten over 300 bitshares from vesting balance and that is awesome too
I made 2000 bts just by swing trading with eos.
The volume is high and the price of eos per bts varys every day.
Its easy to make more bts and just freeroll.
How did you do that, on which exchange?

I trade bts for eos on the bitshares DEX (decentilized exchange)
For example i bought 120 eos for the price of 40bts per unit.And then i wait for 10-20 days for example and i sell in ladders for 50bts,60bts and 70bts if possible :)
That is a BIG IF the price of eos goes up and the price of bts goes down or goes sideways.
If its the other way around you just hold your eos and wait for the price to be higher than you bought.

Dan creates platforms and leaves them to be used. Success depends only by those who will gonna implement their software on those platforms. EOS will be the same. You can give best piano to someone who cant play and it will be shit piano.
oh relax, Steem - Bitshares - EOS is a game. In this game, Dan is a beginer, he only want to create so more application on blockchain technology, that's all :D Don't think so much
