IMHO it's really hard to put any specific number to Bitcoin in the future, but one thing that is almost for certain is at least one of these versions of Bitcoin will emerge as the dominant one and continue to gain value, remain stable, etc...so you can't lose by safely holding the Bitcoin you have now and waiting (as I mention in my comment below).
Yes, I agree, to put an exact figure on the value of BTC is tough. So I was suprised the famous Kapersky put his slung dong on the line (would eat it...!), claiming a very high price for Bitcoin in the future.
Bitcoin SegWit Core will be the biggest, most used and the one having most capital invested in it. And I too HODL my BTC.
HODL - oh god, so overused, but so true and necessary in today's environment of uncertainty.
Yeah about that whole I'll eat my __ quote, it's my opinion he made such an extreme statement to garner media attention and publicity. If that was intention, he DEFINITELY succeeded.
Recently I discover another one #BTFD, Buy The Fogging Dip! Guess that one is ready for some overuse these days. And Bears and Bulls. All coming from the traditional financial realm, maybe we can invent some new ones. :-)
Getting attention worked indeed. Maybe he knows something we don't? Anyway keep them Bitcoins locked in for a while longer.
