They both govern and take very seriously the word of God when legislating their laws, thus repudiating any practice contrary to biblical principles.
What do the poorest countries in the world have in common?
All of these go against biblical principles, and when legislating their laws promote witchcraft, santeria, and other abominations cults according to Deuteronomy 18: 9-12.
What do the most prosperous and powerful countries in the world have in common?
All these countries take God into account, recognizing the existence of one God.

The most prosperous nations recognize, trust and worship one God, while the poorest nations recognize, trust, and worship many gods.
As we can see, the Bible has clear and forceful answers, and if we take it into account as the scripture says, then God will prosper our way, and we will all be well ...

Those verses were for Israel before the coming of Christ. The Jews were to follow all the dietary laws and the animal sacrificial system. That ended when Jesus died on the cross.
Actually, the Arab countries are some of the poorest countries on the planet. The rulers of the oil rich countries spending billions on themselves while the average person in those countries is illiterate and dirt poor.
Those people are poor while Israel is rich. God said to Abraham:
(Genesis 12:3 NIV) I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."
Those who curse Israel today are the Muslim countries. They are among the most brutal, corrupt, incompetent, and thieving governments on the planet.
