CoinTelegraph VS. CoinDesk - 6/13/17
Today I was contacted by the CoinTelegraph for cross promotional cooperation, you can visit the website here:
I gladly accepted because as of late I felt coindesk is becoming politically charged. Also I was not happy with the fact they used tactics to block people who attended Consensus 2017 from broadcasting their interaction. People paid hefty fees to attend and should have a right to share their experience with their respective communities.
Yes, you might say it was in the agreement, but what is the value of a conference if the information is not public. For a news website promoting open source projects, to force people to remove what they thought was promotional material for projects they appreciate is somewhat distasteful.
I will always promote projects I strongly believe in, Steemit is such a project, until there is an overwhelming feeling the forces of censorship by a few are much stronger than those of the majority, I will call Steemit home.
I have received generous funds from my position in the top witness list for awhile, and I will use those funds to promote Steemit on social media. I had prepared campaigns, which are waiting on a resolution of the signup issues. When those issues are ironed out I will launch the campaigns.
