My thoughts on Bitcoin Cash and Satoshi's Real Vision... Fight for Decentralization!

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Listen I'll start of by saying I'm definitely no expert but I have done my fair share of research and would welcome and encourage anyone who reads this to comment below. I'll keep it brief because we're all busy so here are the main points why I think Bitcoin Cash isn't Satoshi's real vision and it's pretty simple....

The main fact I've come across is while the increase of block size means a lot to the speed of the platform and will help bitcoin in-return reach reach the masses(currently BTC can't go over 5 transactions per second, which visa and master-card accomplish thousands) it will make Bitcoin become more CENTRALIZED and not DECENTRALIZED. How is this possible? How do larger block sizes makes bitcoin more centralized? Well it's pretty simple, the majority of people can't get the proper tech and computing power to mine 8MB blocks, leaving the mining up to a very small amount of people who can afford the equipment (like a government funding their vision of bitcoin). Bitcoin is suppose to be mined by the mass's of people so we the PEOPLE can decided the future of bitcoin, not a bunch of greedy miners who have been bought-out by governments or bankers. This is why I believe Bitcoin Core developers are fighting for Segwit, because Segwit doesn't increase the block size too much and still allows for faster transactions and the implication of the lightning network, which will drastically increase the speed.

Keep in mind the whole reason we're here in crypto is to escape the centralization of the evil bankers and government....I think it's important to remember we're fighting for decentralization not growing are own profits...But we can accomplish both by sticking to what we believe is right!

Anyways this is only my opinion and I welcome anyone else to comment as that's how knowledge is gained...by communicating and sharing ideas!

POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!

I think once a decentralised platform is cemented into the masses concreted grip ,they won' t let go and grasp back to a centralised system. People will prefer interacting with their smaller personalised networks . Once trust lines are formed there will be no need to depend on the Governments impersonal centralised system .

Cool stuff I'm researching decentralized coins in particular right now. Which ones do you see being players later on? Thanks for sharing!

I did some research on this ERC20 token yesterday. It raised$ 270million in a few hrs during it ICO back in June,...

As for other platforms.... ARDOR , Stratis, Lisk

This I think is a good indicator that Bitcoin will not be the flood, it's just the flood gates opening, as to what "alt" coin will be dominate is anyone's guess.

Cool take...I think Litecoin will rise especially if Bitcoin cash keep on falling... I could even see a flip with the market caps in a couple days

I am Groot! :D
