My Bitconnect Journey - Starting Today.

Hi, Folks.

I missed out on the $3 Bitcoin, probably like most of you![MBJ.png]

Instead around 2006 till about 2016 I invested a boatload of money in IDN domain names (Internationalized Domain Names), you know names with accents and foreign language characters.

I made a couple of nice sales which encouraged me to go all in!

Bought a couple of names for approx $800 and sold those 2 names for $20,000

One of the names I purchased and resold was Casino.com in Hindi ( कैसिनो.com) I purchased it for for $9, and sold it for $10,000 to a broker working for some Vegas group (as I later found out.

IDN's seemed to be a good opportunity so I reinvested it all back into more names, acquiring up to 1600 very good generic term names at one point.

BIG MISTAKE!

Between Verisign (The company that owns the .com registry) and ICANN (The Internet Commitee on Assigned Names and Numbers) the internet's domain name regulatory body..... I got screwed BIG TIME!

Not just me though...many others did the same thing, as well.

These two companies dragged their feet on the implementation of the IDN protocols, and advertising for years while they were only too eager to accept the yearly renewal fees, for these domains.

Promises were made...but they were never kept.

So, here I sit, at almost 60 years of age, having invested heavily in my domain name retirement package, and with nothing to show for it!

This is not a sob story....I picked myself back up and am going to go at it once again.

Hopefully Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency continue to gather STEEM!

I started my Bitconnect account today with a modest $120 fund which I immediately put into the lending fund to gain daily compound interest.

I will continue to keep everyone posted as to how this works out for me, over the next few months.
