Interesting concept. I agree we must make efforts to champion bitcoin. No matter how successful Steem or any other coin becomes, bitcoin will most likely stay central to the network.

What do you buy Steem with? Bitcoin. How do you cash out? Bitcoin. It will probably remain king as the central cryptocurrency.

Don't get me wrong, altcoins will always have their place and I'm excited as hell about Steem!
