Ethereum conspiracy? - everybody sells ETH for new ICO's

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Recently, I have noticed that many crypto-youtubers and other bloggers are pumping different ICO's without giving proper information. The ETH price dropped because many people sold their coins for getting into an ICO or to convert their ETH to bitcoin for example (in the case of participating in, or owning an ICO) . This new crowdfunding model gives people hope for becoming the next Warren Buffett and everybody wants to try it. I don't think even half of the ICO investors are going through the white papers of the projects they are investing in. That creates a great opportunity for other type of investors (that probably run a blog or a youtube channel) to get some cheap ETH and wait for the next week that will have 3 big ICO's and get 100% in ETH earnings. I think this is already repeating for a second time. The market is pretty small and diverse so a couple of youtube videos or a viral tweet can influence the price of a coin in a major way. I just wanted to get this out. I can be totally wrong, but it is too profitable for some people, and they are tempted to influence the public opinion. Don't invest in ICO's you don't trust in and or at least read the white papers and choose the best investment. Some people are wanting you to sell your ETH - it is obvious.
