Brazilian Exchange Atlas Quantum Reveals Data Breach

Atlas Quantum, a Brazilian cryptocurrency exchange, has revealed on their Facebook page they have suffered a data breach exposing the personal information of 260,000 customers.

Atlas Quantum discovered the breach on Saturday, August 25, and states that user funds are safe but personal information has been exposed.

Atlas Quantum took action as soon as the breach was discovered to prevent further attacks. Platform functions were temporarily paused, and the company insists that encryption keys and passwords remain safe.

The leaked date, reportedly, includes names, phone numbers, addresses, and balance totals.

The Brazil based Atlas Quantum manages over $27 million in assets.
