We can all get washed up with the hype sometimes, trying to be sensible is just harder for some people than others but it's never nice to hear this happening to someone.
Sad to hear that. It was for the best that he learns though. Take it as a learning lesson is the most important thing with any losses in crypto. I hope he gets his BTC back. I have made millions and lost millions of dollars trading crypto, could have had maybe double what I have now in my crypto portfolio if I had done things differently. However with that said I thank god everyday because I could still have nothing. I also would not have gained the knowledge I have now if I had not made those choices and lost that money. The lessons / knowledge I have gained along the way trading and watching the crypto markets the past 5 years has taught me many things. The right knowledge is worth more than any amount of money as it can be used to make you more.
