The worldview of Bitcoin today - Read This and What You Think

in #bitcoin7 years ago

I try to express my opinion about how the world sees bitcoin as a legitimate currency? "legitimate"?. This is a bit disturbing my thinking about bitcoin. Where is the bitcoin declared legitimate as the world's currency? And I did some research on bitcoin and tried to deepen about this bitcoin.

Why? Since this attracts almost everyone on earth is starting to look for bitcoin and even I was surprised to see a junior high school student ask me what is bitcoin, true or fraudulent? And if it's real how to collect it? This is really interesting especially now bitcoin has a very surprising trade. Hahha

So let's get started, with bitcoin history

Bitcoin is one of the stand-alone currencies created by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009. and today the exchange of bitcoin to the world's currency is 1 BTC = 2533 USD. This value is very much different from a few years ago for example in 2010 the price of 1 BTC is only 0.07 USD. Bitcoin is so surprising to everyone right now but will this bitcoin be real? Whether this could be the world's currency later?

When we talk about whether this bitcoin will become the world's currency later? Let's see the condition of a currency is legitimate in the world and its unfortunately at this time I have not been able to where the valid conditions of a currency.

But according to some bitcoin friends it is recognized because the market recognizes its existence in the world. And I agree on this. But there are some other things that become a question. Where does the bitcoin come from? And why do people in this world look for bitcoin? * If you have a reason please comment below: D

The origin of bitcoin is still unclear in my head, not that I do not recognize that bitcoin is real. Right now I'm just trying to find out about bitcoin.

As reported by some people who are experts in their fields for example

"[Virtual Currency] can hold long-term promises, especially if these innovations promote faster, safer and more efficient payment systems."

Ben Bernanke, Chariman Central Bank of the United States

"Virgin Galactic is a bold tech business. It brings a revolution and Bitcoin does the same when it comes to creating a new currency. "

Sir Richard Branson, Virgin Records Founder, Virgin Galactic, and 400+ other businesses

"[Bitcoin] is a very interesting development, it will probably be the world's currency. I think over the next decade Bitcoin will grow into one of the most important ways to pay and transfer assets. "

Kim Dotcom, CEO of MegaUpload

"Bitcoin is a remarkable achievement of cryptography, an ability to create something that can not be duplicated in the digital world has tremendous value"

Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google

"Money is a form of mutual agreement. If enough people agree on the same thing, the items they agree on become unimportant, whether it be farm animals, gold, diamonds, paper, or just codes. History proves all these cases to be true. Who knows how the future will suggest to us how to form money, after we now see the digital currency as usual? "

S.E. Sever, Writer

"It will be everywhere and the world will have to adjust. Governments around the world must adapt themselves back "

John McAfee, Founder of McAfee

"I understand the political consequences bitcoin can cause and I think that the government does not have to regulate Bitcoin and Bitcoin itself should be legal."

Ron Paul, Texas Republican Congressman and former US Presidential candidate

"Economists and journalists are often caught up in this question: Why does Bitcoin have value? And the answer is very easy. Because it is useful and rare. "

Eric Voorhees, co-founder of Coinapult

"It's money 2.0, a very big thing."

Chamath Palihapitiya, ex head of AOL Instant Messenger

"Right now Bitcoin feels like the Internet before the internet browser was created"

Wences Casares, Founder of Banco Lemon

"Bitcoin may be TCP / IP money."

Paul Buchheit, the creator of Gmail

"I am very interested in Bitcoin. Bitcoin has all the marks I like. A paradigm shift, hackers love it, but instead it is ridiculed as a toy. Same with microcomputers. "

Paul Graham, Yahoo Store Creator

"I think Bitcoin is a digital currency that has the potential to do something like change the world."

Peter Thiel, Cofounder of Paypal

"I really like Bitcoin. I have Bitcoins. This is a place of saving investment, an open accounting form. This is a great place to place assets, especially in places like Argentina with inflation reaching 40 percent, where $ 1 is currently worth 60 cents a year, and the government currency does not have a strong currency value. It is also a good investment vehicle if you have an appetite for risk. But Bitcoin will not really be a currency until the value of ups and downs slows down. "

David Marcus, CEO of Paypal

"Bitcoin poses a significant threat to the dominance of the United States currency, which is the only thing that sustains the status of the United States as a superpower around the world."

Rick Falkvinge, IT Entrepreneur, Politician.

"Cryptology is the future of privacy and with that implication Bitcoin is also the future of money, and the future of banking and finance."

Orlin Grabbe, Economist, Prolific Writer

"The next step in human evolution is to put trust in one another, not to their rulers or politicians."

S.E. Sever, Writer

"I think Bitcoin is conceptual and helps big strides forward."

Godfrey Bloom, Political Leader

"I see Bitcoin as one of the greatest things to potentially reduce the power of the state and lift the power of every color of the country to ... forever possible."

Zander Marz, author of "Beyond the Government of Haunted World"

This really appeals to me, and whether the future bitcoin can be a legitimate world currency? And I hope this can come true.

It's just my opinion about bitcoin, and how about you guys? Please comment below!

@hornetto,
Yeah BTC can be a legitimate world currency. Due to it's ledger yep it's much better than bank transactions. But, we don't know what will happen in future. Sometimes a new coin can dominant the market with a better eco system than BTC.
Anyway nice article with a lot of details. Really appreciate your effort!

Cheers~

so if something happen in future, Is it possible that people will move in the future? And how do you think about bitcoin better than gold?

@hornetto
Nice Job!
Keep the good work up!
