Great concept, but not sure the world is ready for this yet.
Is there really demand to buy stocks with crypto? Stocks require a lot of regulation, does crypto want all that regulation?
Stocks are a measure of value in a company. Companies trade goods/services in fiat (today anyway). That couple crypto to fiat, which is what most pro-crypto people seem to want to get away from.
It doesn't matter if the world is ready or not. What matters is that we can show the world it is possible and just maybe launch a world changing tech.
If the world doesn't need the tech, sometimes it just gets pushed aside.
Good thing there are pioneers or we would still be riding horses.

Its very cool when I run into people who know about crypto it doesn't surprise me that we both become super hyped on BTC and a few others will change the way in which we view money and spend it. But wait until they hear about STEEMIT though! Cheers!

The transformation is going to blow our minds.
Understanding the nuts and bolts on how this would work is above my pay grade. What I believe is that every step towards decentralization (in money, transactions, governments, whatever) is a step forward for quality of life for all.
Sounds similar to Patrick Byrne of Overstock although i don't know how they will comply with all the global jurisdictions in regards to compliance.

I've never heard of equibit but it looks pretty interesting.
