That's a very interesting thought mate. I am headed to bed right now as it's pretty late where I am but I will read the article tomorrow and get back to you :) In the meantime, I guess I would say that I think PoS is much better than PoW but Cryptocurrencies are a very new technology so I would be very surprised if the best method has even been invented yet. I'll take a proper look tomorrow though and get back to you.
I, too, prefer PoS - hence, I like NEO. Also, Ark is doing really well - and it's meant to be a bridge between Ether and other cryptocurrencies. Ether might be the One - and making solidity easier to use for developing is a good idea - but I never like the idea of monopoly...just some thoughts.
The best advice I can give is to post high quality content regularly to gather as many followers as possible but most importantly.. loyal followers! Also, have a look at the various boosting services (e.g. minnowbooster, randowhale, booster) as they can provide a much needed kick-start for new pages
I plan to begin writing about various ways to gain a following on Steemit soon too mate so follow along too if you want to see more :)
Well, good read, but i'm a bit bummed. See, as of a couple weeks ago what i had been reading was that the rewards would be cut from 5 to 3(something like that) but the difficulty would drop slightly and be frozen until it went to PoS in late 2018. This changes things for me personally as i will probably shift to nicehash or mine zcash/ubiq/lbry etc etc. I'm not opposed to PoS at all though, i was just misinformed as far as the details of the upcoming Metropolis were concerned. Thanks for clarifying.........maybe i should just read it myself? hahahaha. I think it's about time i did just that!
Consice and succinct, great post. Got my full UV and resteemed.
What is your opinion on the issue of Proof of Stake actually centralizing the blockchain more? The rich get richer? Benefits those who came in early? But not really to new adopters if they don't come in with huge investments? https://cointelegraph.com/news/the-inevitable-failure-of-proof-of-stake-blockchains-and-why-a-new-algorithm-is-needed

Silly me, I should read the date. So nevermind. What did you learn since it Forked? Is Tezos showing itself to be a strong contender?
