-ArtByte SegWit Update-
- On the ArtByte testnet SegWit/CSV is now locked in, we've finished the activation period.
Now we are in the "grace period" (just like the two week period that Bitcoin is entering today). This period allows users to upgrade their software to support the new style of transactions. On the testnet this period will finish 310 blocks.
- Once this final test period completes, the mainnet roll out is scheduled.
ArtByte yesterday announced that SegWit is now implemented: SegWit and CSV are now fully enabled on the ArtByte testnet! Up next is final testing on the new client and mining pool. Then enabling SegWit on the live network. SegWit was quite positive for the coin price: CoinMarketCap - ArtByte
