Bitcoin (BTC) Evening Update: If Bitcoin Crashes, where to run?
SUMMARY
I've been calling for a major top at a Cycle degree of trend. Once this top is in (perhaps somewhere between $7,000 to $9,000), the correction will be a site to behold. The Altcoins will not represent safe havens and the video analysis contains the full details that are too much to pen.
The chart below shows an hourly chart and the white a,b,c,d,e triangle has all waves complete except wave e and this means a one more low towards $5,600 is likely before resuming up.

Well I think the statement that will bring the price down has just began. Yesterday I saw a YouTube video stating that anyone dealing with cryptocurrencies in Indonesia will be in serious trouble. I've not confirm it though.
I've seen you write that statement about better to be out wishing you were in than in wishing you were out, but it was more profound to hear you speak it in the context of this scenario.

What advice do you have for somebody who does not want to cash out into fiat, but still needs some kind of safe haven? If the only recourse is to hold through the major dip I will, as I have done so all through 2014-2017 too, but would appreciate any advice! I will be buying some Bitshares as insurance, but do not want all my eggs in that basket.
Also, what about Ethereum? What does long term logarithmic Elliot Wave theory predict for Ethereum? The same cycle? I have the feeling that Ethereum is in some ways less linked to the success/failure of Bitcoin, and it is becoming widely adopted in a very different way. I would be interested in knowing if there is enough historic data to make a similar long term prediction as your main BTC one! I do see Ethereum as a potential survivor to any crash

Hello everyone; @Haejin you said that an event such as governement regulation (in the USA) shall justify the forecast, a statement which I 100% agree with. However, what about european and asian holders? I as a European would not be that affected by such measures, would I? At least to a certain extent I guess. Remember China and the regulation of cryptocurrencies: BTC has never been so high!
Plus I must say I don't think ETH for one will crash as much as other alt coins because of its market cap (1/3 of bitcoin's). But hey, I may be wrong, just my 2 cents!

@haejin out of curiosity I had a look at USDT and I see it has been reasonably stable: always within 10% of USD and most time well within 1%. Are you thinking about any reason why it wouldn't hold this time? I'm still following your advise anyway: better safe than sorry.

Hi @haejin, I have the same question. I understand that USDT is pegged to USD 1:1, I have been using it as a hideout in the past. Is it safe to hide in case of btc major meltdown to sub 2k/1k? Thanks in advance.
I would add, if the Bitcoin correction is severe enough to cause exchanges to go under, USDT won't do you much good unless you have it in cold storage. At that point, why not have your money back in fiat in a bank?
