XVG, A Bright Spot In The Bear Market ?

In the bearish markets that we have seen as of late there have been a few gems from an investor point of view. One of those has been XVG. Although it has defiantly been a bumpy ride the last couple weeks.
Verge is well on the way to recouping most of the losses it suffered last week from a exploit to the time stamps when mining. It lost nearly 250k tokens last week but it’s back over a billion dollar market cap today.
A lot of things are fueling this pricing spiking as well. They are announcing a “huge” partnership on the 17th of this month which according to its lead developer Sunerok could push it to 3rd in overall market cap.

Another interesting development, Sunday TokenPay (Partner with XVG and a decentralized payment platform based in Germany) announced that a preliminary agreement has been made of a possible XVG debit card coming in the future. This had been talked about since before the Wraith protocol but is making news now. Anyone remember what happened to Litecoin’s price when they announced that they may do something similar? Sure, it didn’t work out and the prices went down because of that news.

Personally, I believe that I will sell some XVG on 15th of the month and take some profits. Defiantly a case of buying the rumor and selling the news. I will not be getting rid of all of it though. I think I might want to hold on to some XVG for a while. When the market rebounds I can only see XVG moving right along with the market.
2018 is quickly looking to be a very good year for XVG as long as the market follows suit in my humble opinion.
