I also trust Bittrex, but I will keep half there and half on Electrum desktop wallet.
I'm only leaving what I have to on Bittrex. The rest I'm putting on my trezor

So by having bitcoin on Bittrex during the hard fork you might get both coins... is that right?
This is absolutely the most responsible thing to do. I love Bittrex, they've never let me down! I got my advanced authorization in less than 2 hours. How awesome is that?
I agree Bittrex has great service. I once lost some XLM for not putting a memo tag from my wallet to Bittrex. Customer service responded to my request and creditted my account within hours.
That is what I think will happen. It may just take a bit to get the forked coins and be able to trade them.
