Economic Death and the Puppets in Charge

The debt increased about $10 trillion under Obama. It will increase even more under Trump. We all know this to be true as sure as we know the day is long in Alaska during the summer months. I'm not blaming these men nor pointing fingers at any presidents. It is what it is. No matter who sits on the throne, the debt will continue to increase, and eventually it’ll come time to pay. Always has…always will.

We have countless historical examples of nations/empires that ran up the debt, debased the currency, and died through war in spectacular fashion. You might say they went out with a bang. I’m sure the peoples of those nations lived in denial and pleaded their innocence when the economic Grim Reaper came a-calling.

Considering the political climate in which we live (to include debt, debasement, and international dispute), it should be abundantly clear where we are in this cycle. In some way, shape or form, the creditors will be reimbursed, and we'll ultimately be selling our assets to them for pennies on the dollar...again.

Then again, perhaps the people (after 1000s of years) finally awoke to this economic and monetary scam.
