I'd suggest that people ignore the ALTCOIN/BTC ratio on these forecasts.
ALTCOIN/USD - all is ok.
Usually you can only buy ALTCOIN with BTC.
DO NOT trade your BITCOIN for an altcoin out of share greed (idea to make more bitcoin). Most likely you will lose BITCOIN that way.
If you like the forecast of an ALTCOIN then:
- BUY more BITCOIN (using extra FIAT)
- TRADE that temporarily acquired BTC for an altcoin.
If you don't want to put MORE FIAT into crypto - then think really hard whether trading bitcoin for a particular altcoin is a good idea. Yes altcoins usually grow faster. Specially those, which are in an infant state. With that being said - don't get greedy (stupid).
Go for the alt line! Just remember to always humbly and gratefully take your profits!!!
