Bloomberg is reporting that a company headed by a Putin aid is launching and ICO and seeking to raise $100 Million to mine bitcoin. This move is in an attempt to counter the Bitcoin mining efforts in China.

Russian Miner Coin (RMC) has ambitions to reach up to 30% of all Global Mining.

This is seen as a watershed moment for Bitcoin and adds to the current Ethereum Projects that Russia has underway.
