The company announced last week that the watch has a "cold wallet" and a state-of-the-art proprietary security solution based on blockchain technology.

Laurent Favre, CEO of A. Favre & Fils, said in a statement:
"We've developed this first clock with the idea of ​​offering something useful to the crypto community, not just something to spend their money on."

A representative from the company told CoinDesk that, depending on the model and its characteristics and materials, the watch will cost between 100,000 and 150,000 CHF (or 102,000 - 153,000 USD).

The watch will "ensure the ultimate in data security and privacy," the company said. The first prototype will be released in the second quarter of 2019.
