Crypto will surge. Bitcoin... not so much. The Bitcoin technology is already obsolete in every dimension we can think of. Anonymity? Monero is much better. Variety of use? Ethereum and Bitshares among other are able to do so much more things. Scalability? Let me laugh, 7 transactions/second is all that Bitcoin is able to swallow (and the proposed "solutions" are dividing the community..). Easiness and speed of use? Again, you have to check Bitshares. Plus, Bitcoin is based on bad economics, and its environmental impact will never stand the test of time.
