Might I ask what broker your using? Are you not going about it through a tradition fiat -> currency gateway like Coinbase?
I am using Btc direct as my broker . Apparantly their supply of etherneum is depleted . It's is a trust worth broker ,I have ordered many times in the past and it workes out pretty perfectly .
