50 USD fee in a trasaction is totally ridiculous, i mean if you go to a place where they acept bitcoin and you order your lunch after you eat your food and you go to pay the bill and the value is $13 and you if you pay with btc your lunch will cost $63 something totally unacceptable.
As you say the energy spend mining so we have to change the ship and adopt blockchain 2.0
