GK8 allocated a day for hacking a bitcoin wallet with $ 125,000
An Israeli startup GK8 offered to those who wanted to crack its cold cryptocurrency wallet with $ 125,000 in its account. If successful, the hacker will receive an additional reward of $ 250,000 in bitcoins.
The launch of the program will take place on February 3, 17:00 Moscow time. According to the terms of the competition, it is necessary to crack the wallet in 24 hours.
Representatives of GK8 note that their wallet is “absolutely impossible to crack”, as asset management does not require a network connection.
“We offer hackers from all over the world to crack our wallet, although of course they won’t succeed,” said Giork Co-Founder and CEO Lior Lamesh in a comment to The Block.
The GK8 cold cryptocurrency wallet with the ability to carry out on-chain transactions was introduced in September 2019. For its development, the startup raised $ 4 million from a number of Israeli investment companies, including from the local State Agency for Innovation.
