Almost all of the Syrian air force is destroyed and the three remaining planes will be unable to take off for several weeks until runways are repaired.
Trump drew a red line on the use of gas WMDs against innocent civilians and children. When Assad crossed the line, Trump took action.
The last time this happened in April 2017, Bitcoin price rallied 25% in the month following the cruise missile strikes. Moving from $1,200 up to $1,500 in less than one month.
Question: will we see a similar BTC rally in 2018, with price going up to $8,000 by early May?
Answer: with almost 100% certainty we will see $8,000 for BTC by May, if this massive strike happens to take out more than one or two of the Russian MIGs that are currently playing in Syria.

Interesting concept of bitcoin going up with the launch of missiles. We will have to see.
My theory is geopolitical instability is one of the drivers of BTC price. There are other drivers, so geopolitical instability is not the only factor.

So we still have 36 hours to go.

You can't expect foreshadowing to be PERFECT.
the headline didn't say anything about foreshadowing...it appeared to be a done deal.

The counter-reaction from Russia could drive BTC up by 400%. But unlikely.
Putin is your basic playground bully. When he gets kicked in the teeth, he will most likely back off and at least temporarily stop the bullying behavior.
