WordPress is launching a new publishing platform supported by Google, the Ethereum ConsenSys development studio and more. In particular, Blockchain tools will be incorporated.

Announced this week on the WordPress blog, the new product, Newspack, is described as an "economic" platform that offers technology and support for small and medium newspaper organizations.

A representative of ConsenSys confirmed the investment to CoinDesk yesterday, adding that newsrooms that access Newspack will be offered the option to use the Blockchain-based functions that are available through Civil Media, backed by ConsenSys.
