Bitcoin acceptance and adoption in The Netherlands (Arnhem)

Of all the tweets that came by on a certain day, my eye caught a tweet of a Bitcoin meet up in Arnhem some weeks ago.

I did some research and I found out that there is a group of Bitcoin enthousiasts that wanted to spend their Bitcoin in their own City. So they started this initiative called Arnhem Bitcoin City.

Arnhem Bitcoin City's goal is to demonstrate there is an alternative for the current financial system by creating a bitcoin economy.

These people are very passionate about Bitcoin and they are just doing this for fun on top of their regular jobs. I think we need more people like these!

So yesterday, I went to the city of Arnhem here in the Netherlands to do an interview with Rogier Eijkelhof, one of the founders of Arnhem Bitcoin City and I wanted to see how this works in practice.
