Bitcoin and Altcoin Prices Skid as Crypto Market Cap Reaches Monthly Low

The crypto markets continued to bleed on Monday and today, as the total value of all cryptocurrencies has now dipped below $80 billion. Several altcoins have lost between 20% to 40% in value, leaving investors in panic. Bitcoin has managed to stay somewhat stable in comparison, dropping 8.39 % to $2,310.14 with over $373 Million exchanged in the last 24h.

Currently sitting at $175.64, Ethereum has dropped at a faster speed, losing 25.97% in value against the U.S Dollar with over x exchanged on the ETH/USD market.
