He may know about bitcoin but I doubt he knows about privacy coins like Pivx, Verge, or Monero who can easily hide identity. Bitcoin is also very traceable as per the FBI and CIA. It's up to the user to use crypto for illegal activities, but you can also do the same with paypal or venmo. With cash you can also just send a messenger to do your running around, with that it gives you some anonymity.
