Mini Market Update - 18/02/18

Mini Market Update: As expected, the markets have dropped off a bit today after a steady 7 day bull run; but such behaviour is not uncommon for a Sunday. Investors like to withdraw their funds and cash out their week's profits, especially this week after we've seen most coins significantly appreciate.

As such, the market cap is now below $500bn again. The coins that saw the most gains in the last 7 days are unsurprisingly the coins that are suffering most today; for example, 7 days ago LSK went from $24 to $35 and has now fallen by 12.39% within the last 24hrs.

In general, we finally got to see a good performing market with overall market value of cryptos rising 24% to $488 billion compared to the previous week. Bitcoin rose 28% to $10,500 and Ether rose 12% to $930.
