There’s a tweet that caught our attention recently. Crypto Bobby writes, ‘I’d venture to say overall interest in crypto is down at least 60% or so from January’s peak.. if you’re still sticking around and learning, you’re in the minority and I think you’ll be rewarded.’
Why do we think this is true? Because it already happened. Back in 2013-14, we experienced exactly the same as we just did in 2017, albeit at an order of magnitude lower interest and prices. But we stuck around, and we kept learning. So did a handful of other guys, when the get-rich-quick crew and the guys who couldn’t be bothered to stay the course evaporated.
A lot of the people who made it through 2014 are still around now, and they made it big with the knowledge, experience and crypto they accumulated in that punishing time. Some of them are leading some of the largest crypto initiatives in the world. (We helped some of them get to launch.)
Bottom line, if you’ve got the guts and foresight to keep your head when everyone else is panicking, and to know that this is the time when fortunes, careers and lives are made: congratulations. You figured out something that at least 95% of the world never does. There’s a good chance you will play some small or maybe not-so-small role in the future of blockchain. Good luck!

The main thing that keeps people "ahead of the curve" in profit-making/taking is your level of self-education about the space which is going to be occupied in the future. If you're on SteemIt right now, your odds of learning something about that future are dramatically higher than the average Joe out there.

I think the more important question would be do YOU think it has a bright future? Crypto in my view IS the future, what Bitcoins role in that will be is yet to be determined i think.

With all the fud these days, its nice to see others who share the same vision, and are participating in this space for more than just getting rich. Of course, we all hope to become very wealthy, but some of us, those at the core of this space, want to do much more than accumulate wealth... We want to change the course of the future, and put the control back in the hands of the common man. We want to revolutionize not just money, but human interaction.
