SEC suspended trading in shares of The Crypto Company

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) suspended trading in Crypto shares, which deals with crypto-currency assets.

In a notice released this morning, the agency announced that it is a freeze on stock trading for The Crypto Company, which is located in Malibu, California, and offers consulting and investment services for the Crypto-currencies.

The SEC said that it suspends trade due to concerns about some of the information published by the company, as well as plans outlined in public statements regarding the sale of shares by "insiders". Trade freeze will last until January 3, according to the SEC.

The Agency announced:

"The Commission temporarily suspended the trading of securities of The Crypto Company due to concerns about the accuracy and adequacy of information on the market, in particular, the compensation paid for the company's advancement, and statements about the company's insiders plans . There were also questions about the potentially manipulative transactions with the company's shares in November 2017."

According to MarketWatch, shares of a little-known company have grown strongly in recent weeks. Last month, the price rose by more than 1'800 percent, and the company's market capitalization exceeded $ 11 billion.
