Search engine Baidu launched a blockbuster platform

The largest search engine in China, Baidu launched its blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS) blockbuster platform. Based on the technology developed by Baidu, the open platform offers the most user-friendly "blocking service".

According to the company's dedicated website, Baidu Trust allows you to conduct and track transactions and can be used to provide a wide range of services, including digital currency, digital billing, bank credit management, financial audit of insurance management and much more.

Baidu says that technology is already being used to secure the exchange of assets. Also, the company's representatives claim that the network has already facilitated transactions "with asset-backed securities, using blockchain technology in China."

In its actions, Baidu follows the Chinese Internet conglomerate Tencent, which launched its own package of services based on the blockbuster technology.

In April 2017, the company said it would use technology called "TrustSQL", offering digital asset management, authentication and "managing the economy" among other services.

Baidu took bitcoin and its technological component very early. Back in October 2013, the company announced that it accepts payment in bitcoins for services on its site to improve productivity, speed and security of websites.
