According to a research, Bitcoin's block-chain, which is used to record Bitcoin transactions, contains files that are stained with hundreds of links to child pornography sites-a huge online database that grows whenever a bitcoin changes hands.

In the BBC, researchers at Germany's RWTH Aachen University, who said that their findings could raise concerns about the future of crypto-money, found that they had watched operations in the Bitcoin block chain and discovered that 1.4 percent - 1600 files - they reported.

At least eight of these files were found to be full of dirty content, and two of the files contained hundreds of links to child pornography sites on the dark web.

The researchers reported that other content in the block chain that might be problematic included copyright and privacy violations and malware.

Due to the nature of Bitcoin, it is not possible to erase this data because Bitcoin's block chain is designed as a non-reversible notebook.

The researchers note that the rapord may be legally at risk because all Bitcoin participants (such as miners, owners of a Bitcoin node, etc.) maintain an exact copy of the block chain containing objectionable content. However, it should be noted that this does not affect ordinary users who only buy and sell Bitcoin.
