You can always count on John McAfee to defend cryptocurrencies during corrections/retracements. The media is determined to savage Bitcoin every chance they get. The large banks go out of their way to denigrate cryptocurrencies without being honest enough to acknowledge it represents an existential risk to their business model. Disruption of any existing industry or business is painful for those disrupted. History teaches when systemic changes become inevitable, those who adapt will thrive and those who resist change will pay a heavy price for their failure. No one has a crystal ball when it comes to predicting the future, but a person's self interest will always cause a bias in how they see and interpret data. This is why the tobacco scientists in the 1960's saw no link between cancer and smoking. The oil industry scientists find no evidence linking the burning of fossil fuels with climate change. And now the bank analyst see no value in cryptocurrency. To deny the power and genius of blockchain technology is absurd. The cryptocurrencies are part of this ongoing revolution. Thankfully we have the John McAfee's of the world to push back. HODL everybody!!

STOPJohn McAffe to me, seems the kind of guy who rides whichever wave is the biggest. Viruses become a thing - he creates public fear and makes a huge profit. Crypto becomes popular, he's riding that wave too.
Do you remember when he fled to Belize, hired a small army, hired 17 year old girlfriends, drugged and raped his only academic employee, shot his neighbour and got arrested for drug manufacturing - making himself an international fugitive? All before escaping back to the US, relegitamising himself as a tech mogul and ran for president with the Libertarian party?
