Like most people on this earth, I am always looking for opportunities to make some extra money (no shame about it). But in order to make money you usually need to invest some money. And when it comes to invest your own money, in anything, you should definitely do some researches first. Because in the cryptocurrency world you could lose money if you take anything you see on the internet for granted.
So today I am writing this post for those who recently watched a Youtube video promoting...
First of all, what is Bitconnect ?
Bitconnect is a website where you can buy Bitconnect Tokens with your Bitcoins. Lets say you put $150 bitcoin value in, your money will be locked up for 299 days while the Bitconnect Robot will be trading bitcoin for you. If you put between $100 and $1000 they say you will get your $150 back after these 299 days. But the fact is the Bitcoin price will probably go up during that time and when you will finally be able to get your money back (Only if the website still exist) ...GUESS WHAT... you will end up with so much less bitcoin for that $150. You will definitely lose value over time !
THIS IS A SCAM !!! DON'T BE STUPID PUTTING YOUR MONEY IN THIS WEBSITE !!!
But who makes money with it?
The only people who are making money with this are Youtubers who have thousands of subscribers. People are ready to follow their bullshit advice to sign up with their referral code. In that case the Youtuber will receive something like $50 for each person signing up with his referral code. So in order to make money out of this REFERRAL PONZI SHEME SYSTEM, you should be a successful Youtuber fooling his subscribers. Otherwise you will be just another victim of this HUGE SCAM ! I thing you should unsubscribe to those Youtuber's channels, because they are just trying to take advantage of you (Shame on them).

So many people signed up for this scam. It might hurt bitcoin, like it did in 2014. They are promising a 1% interest a day if you invest 10.000 USD, and then you can reinvest your daily earnings. If you do the calculations, 1% a day, interest of the interest, you will end up knowing that 1% daily interest is an astronomical return.
You're totally right! Because of those scams, people can think that all cryptos are scam as well. We need to be aware and help each other.

I don't know about that but when you can't find the WHITE PAPER of a cryptocurrency, don't even bother to dig deeper. And Bitconnect doesn't have a white paper.
It is for the gambling sort of man. Put your bitcoin in, and hope you get out more than you put in before it disappears. Exciting stuff, eh?
