BIP148 Confusion....Soft Fork or Hard Fork ... what is the future for Bitcoin

As a Bitcoin and cryptocurrency holder the ongoing debate about BIP148 and the future scaling of Bitcoin is of major importance to me.

Over the last few days I have been reading numerous articles and watching videos trying to get a clear idea of what scenarios are most likely to come true and whether i should take a large portion of my holdings out of the market until the situation clarifies... but when do i take it out .... now .... in a month or a few days before August 1st ???

I am sure many people are having the same thoughts.

I hope things can be resolved without a hard fork and without losing peoples confidence in bitcoins !!!
