My Cryptocurrency Investment Portfolio: Part 3

OK today's update:

Portfolio value gone up by about 10% overall so that is good.

I'm also transferring another 7K to put into my portfolio (so waiting 14K total more to go in), may take a while though the process is so slow...my Bitstamp deposit still hasn't come through it has been a week now. Bitter as the market is growing fast, anyway can't do much about it.

Here is what the portfolio looks like:

When I do get the rest of my funds in I am going to hold some BTC in BitStamp, like 10% worth of my portfolio, so that I can quickly change (i.e. 1 click) to $$$ if I want to lower my exposure for a short period of time.

Then also hold some BTC in Polo so that I can do exchanges quick, changed from Eth to BTC to Polo today and it took about an hour...was bitter as I wanted to buy VIACOIN and by the time it had got there, it had already gone up 20% ! Was reading about it a lot last night, looks like a solid long term grower, nice team, nice product, nice plan.

There is a massive sell order for VIA for 38 BTCs at 0.00048899...so doubt my order will get filled but will see what happens. I feel the whole market is going to drop the next few days apart from BTCs and Eth, as the alt coins have all been on euphoria this week.

I always wonder who is it doing these massive orders ?:X

Important lesson - stay flexible and ensure trades are easy / quick to conduct by keeping BTC's available, get this sorted in advance.

Still put my order in for ViaCoin and if it doesn't get matched then so be it I will keep the BTCs which I feel are a fine investment anyway. The graph over 3 months show it drops about 20-30% after every high point so well a bit optmistic but will see if it gets matched at the price I like.

Also bought some Zcash, as 1st July will be available on AlphaBay and is a very popular online currency on the darknet, all the news about Zcash is positive so I am glad to have a position in that currency.

I am also planning on buying some ripple, maybe 3-4K's worth when the deposit comes through as I feel it is going to break out in the next few weeks and it is also a solid long term investment even if it doesn't in my opinion - it is always top 5-10 of the volume charts on world coin index.

Arghh I hate to mention ANS (Antshare) still on epic euphoria, such a terrible sell at 3.9, now it is at 9.4 and still looking to grow jesus...there is big news apparently on the 22nd June about it, so if you have some keep an eye on it and the tips I am getting is to sell before the 22nd. At least I bought 1st with half the money which has grown a whopping 150% !

Rumours are around counter party (XCP) growing fast as it trades at $19 for Western sites but $40 for Eastern sites :O thats a pretty big difference, however there is not much volume in the Eastern sites for it....I checked out the coin and I didn't like feel it offered anything new or very good prospects but might be more of a market swinger for short term gains rather than long term holds (which are what I like) so I am going to avoid it.

I've signed up and verified a BTer account, as that is the only platform available for trading Cryptonite - I have noticed it a few times because it has such epic swings! Read about it and it is for fast micro transactions which would obviously be good for every day transaction (like buying grocery's) if it worked, and the coin is very small price at the moment so going to keep my eye on it as it is tempting to buy...today it went 150% whoaa

Only going to put a small amount (500$ each) into the Hybrid and Wagerr ICO's, feeling a bit sceptical about ICO's as they seem to raise so much and so fast but uhh what happens to the money after that? Bit worried that there is not enough regulation around the ICO's at the moment to ensure everything is accounted for...

Back to the studying :D
