Part number two: First findings

Dear all, thank you for spending your time with me, i promise not to let you down.

In this part i am going to show and explain some of the data, that we were able to get after performing the research methods described in the previous part on my blog.

As i mentioned before, the data that we were using for our research, consisted of 2 millions 200 thousands tweets.Which was observed over the period of 15 months, starting 2017 January and finishing 2018 March.

We chose twitter, due to it's accessibility and reputation in the crypto community.

In the graph below, you can see the results that we obtained where x axis marks the particular day and y axis marks the sentiment score for that day.

Once we had this graph we were able to see on which days people's reaction to bitcoin was the strongest and whether it was positive or negative. This data allowed us to bring further hypothesis to understand how bitcoin's market operates, and what are the main factors that determine it's price action.

In my next entry i will present you what were the reasons of these spikes, and how this information can be used in order to make profitable investments.Stay tuned.
